Roger Stone dropped some interesting information about Erik Siebert, the former U.S. Attorney who didn’t want to go after Letitia James. Now, we’re learning that he also fought hard to keep the Justice Department from indicting former FBI Director James Comey.

According to Stone, Siebert prepared a 51-page memo arguing in Comey’s favor. What he didn’t include in the memo is that Siebert’s father-in-law also happens to be the godfather of Comey’s daughter.​

I would rather focus on the person's crimes instead of the family though I understand why these little tidbits are interesting.

I knew something was rotten in Denmark when Comey indicted General Flynn for the very same crime he, Comey, is now indicted when there was pretty much zero implication that Flynn's 'lie' was in any way consequential. That indictment was absolute lawfare.

And then Comey himself, before the House Judiciary Committee, ticked off crime after crime committed by and lie after lie that Hillary Clinton told Congress but said he wouldn't indict her as no reasonable prosecutor would bring a case against her. In other words she walked almost certainly because Obama didn't want her prosecuted.
