Even if the two individuals in question were attending the convention in an official capacity, or were indeed just registered republicans, it doesn’t mean they’re representative of republicans and conservatives in general, or that the GOP is a ‘racist’ party.

It does, however, once again call in to question what it is about the GOP and conservatism that attracts racists and allows them to feel comfortable engaging in overt racist acts in what they must perceive to be a safe venue.
