They all said Tony Sirico in real life was like his character Paulie Walnuts.

He and Michael Imperioli had some of the best interaction/dialog on The Sopranos. Genuinely funny.
I also remember he had a small bit In "Goodfellas".

Many people have wondered why the Paulie Walnuts character always stood with both of his hands almost touching together in front of his body?
It was a life long defensive posture stance that Tony Sirico had picked up when he spent a couple of years in prison for felony weapons possession and other criminal charges.

Young “Junior” Sirico, as he was then known, was first detained by the police when he was 7 for stealing change from a newsstand.
