RIP Eddie Van Halen

I am an old man who likes only music from the 1950s & 1960s (especially "Angel Baby").

I have never listened to that gentleman's music, but I have, of course, heard of him.

When we hear that a famous person has died, it is a salutary reminder that it can happen to us or our loved ones at any time (after all, he was only 65).

So maybe we should learn to put everything in perspective -- even what is going to happen on November 3.

I try to but didn’t see one here or in breaking news when I posted this one. It can be difficult when you don’t know how someone might title their thread on the same topic.
