A Florida woman who rioted at the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6—then boasted about it on Parler and Facebook—pleaded guilty Monday to a felony charge of civil disorder. According to court documents, 33-year-old Corrine Montoni entered the Capitol through a broken door near the Senate. “WE BREACHED THE CAPITOL OMG,” she allegedly posted to right-wing social media platform Parler while inside.

She allegedly wrote on Parler, “Insurrection is coming. Hold the line. Stay vigilant,” and “Storming the Capitol to take back our country from traitors! This is OUR HOUSEEEE!” Montoni even showed off some of the property damage in the Capitol that day, allegedly saying on Parler, “Here’s a pretty little view form [sic] inside the Capitol at our traitor DC police, with a smashed window.”

Prosecutors say she also admitted that the rioters “broke a few windows” on Facebook, while calling the riot “peaceful” in the same breath. Montoni’s conviction could land her up to five years in prison.

What Happened to the Jan. 6 Rioters Arrested Since the Capitol Attack

BY NIK POPLI AND JULIA ZORTHIAN

UPDATED: MAY 26, 2023 4:55 PM EDT | ORIGINALLY PUBLISHED: JANUARY 6, 2022 6:00 AM EST
More than 1,033 people have been arrested for storming the U.S. Capitol building on Jan. 6, 2021, with charges ranging from obstruction of an official proceeding to assault. But 28 months after the attempted insurrection, a significant number of rioters are still awaiting their sentencing.
Around 47% of those arrested—485 individuals—have received criminal sentences, while the rest are waiting for their trials or haven’t yet reached plea agreements. According to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Columbia, 277 defendants were sentenced to periods of incarceration, with longer prison terms for those who engaged in violence or threats. So far, the median prison sentence for the Jan. 6 rioters is 60 days, according to TIME’s calculation of the public records. An additional 113 rioters have been sentenced to periods of home detention, while most sentences have included fines, community service and probation for low-level offenses like illegally parading or demonstrating in the Capitol, which is a misdemeanor.

Your hoax was blown wide open, rube.

Instead of doing some reflection about how easily you are hoaxed, you double down.

That's why I say you rubes DESERVE to be lied to. You BEG to be lied to.

Why can't we deal with political unrest as sanely as the Russians do? Rebel tanks and dissident soldiers rolled close to Moscow and it seems like the administration is willing to forgive an forget. A bunch of unarmed mom and pop demonstrators are escorted through the Capital building and the weaponized feds hunt them all down and send them to prison. Dressed bizarrely? You get a couple more years tacked on your sentence. No casualties in the Russian incident but Tthe feds couldn't keep a Capital Cop from executing an unarmed woman.

Yeah, because on that day, only one side trashed the Capitol and tried to hang the Veep.

Let me know if you are still confused. :itsok:
