With the exception of a few articles from news sources like Got News

...I haven't seen anyone support the cop killer or show a lack of support for LEO. I have only seen condemnation, from both sides.
What is more appalling is the teaper faction using this as a race baiting story.
Just because you create a narrative to support your partisanship...it doesn't mean it is true.
Oh, and I am glad you agree with me, Teapers are wacko...because there sure were a whole hell of a lot of 'wackos' on this very forum that support the Bundy militia (which is the Tea Party militia in actuality).
The Mayor tries to talk about "support for LEO" after they are shot, or hatcheted, or otherwise maimed. However his rhetoric during other times is partly to blame for fanning the flames.
Apparently you are ignorant about the TEA party movement. TEA stands for Taxed Enough Already, and it is a truly grassroots group who think the government has a spending problem, not an income problem. Unfortunately, like any grassroots group, it attracts some wacko's. However, since the TEA party movement is on the right of the political spectrum, they generally ostracize any extremists. Yes, there is usually someone from "the Klan" who shows up at the TEA party events, but nobody listens to them. This is the obverse of the political left, where extremists like Al Sharpton, Bill Ayers, and Ward Churchill are held up as role models and given TV shows and tenured professorships.
Groups, such as the TEA party, ACORN, police unions, etc.....can fundamentally disagree on major strategies (taxation, public unions, etc), but yet agree on specifics (don't shoot cops, cops shouldn't violate our constitutional rights). The TEA party, with their focus on limiting the role of the federal government, agreed with the Bundy clan that the federal government is out of control. Just like many of us in the TEA party agree with the ACLU types that the police don't need to routinely use military vehicles. However, again, note the difference between the Right and the Left. Nobody started executing the police during the Bundy dispute.
Lastly, those on the right support LEOs, teachers, construction workers, electricians, plumbers.....ALL working people. However we disagree with public sector unions buying elected officials in exchange for lucrative contracts.
