Few worse atrocities have ever existed than the protection of Richard Allen Davis from execution, by California governor Gavin Newsome.
Let's begin with a summary of facts >>>
  • RAD was convicted in 1996, of killing a 12 year old girl, Polly Klaas, in 1993
  • RAD was sentenced to death in 1996
  • RAD showed no remorse and even gave 2 middle fingers to the Klaas family in the courtroom
  • RAD, in court, claimed that Polly Klaas' father had molested her (no evidence ever shown)
  • California governor Gavin Newsome stated that there would be no executions to the best of his power, during his administration, a violation of state law
  • Newsome signed an order on executions saying the death penalty is ineffective, irreversible, and immoral
  • In January 2022, Newsom directed the state to begin dismantling its death row in San Quentin, to be transformed into a "space for rehabilitation programs"
  • Republican opponents criticized Newsom's moves to halt capital punishment in California, as defiance of the will of voters (who upheld capital punishment twice, in 2012 and 2016),, and capital punishment advocates said they denied closure to murder victims' families
Polly Klass' father, Marc Klaas, says that Gavin Newsome "went from being an advocate for the people of California, to the greatest advocate for pure evil. For the baby killers, and cop killers, and the serial killers."
I would say it is hard to disagree with that, and it is mind boggling that less than a month from now, thousands of Californians will vote to re-elect this man.

On a side note, Newsome has been involved is various scandals. Amongthese were directing the San Francisco city–county clerk to issue marriage licenses to same-sex couples, thereby violating state law, he said he would appoint a Black woman to replace Dianne Feinstein if she were to retire from the Senate, a violation of US Civil rights law, and the NPR station CapRadio reported that Newsom and Cal Fire had falsely claimed in January 2020 that 90,000 acres of land at risk for wildfires had been treated with fuel breaks and prescribed burns; the actual treated area was 11,399 acres, an overstatement of 690%. In conjunction with this Newsome was involved in a corruption scandal, accused of accepting campaign donations from PG&E, allowing PG&E to avoid billions of dollars in extra fees.
In addition, Newsome was pictured dining at a posh restaurant with 11 maskless friends, flouting his own Covid rules, at the height of the pandemic.

An attempt at recalling Newsome failed by a slim margin.

Newsome, sucks. They should have been successful with the recall when they had the chance.

Gruesome should put his money where his mouth is and trade places with the killer. I'll bet the killer could run the state better and Gruesome could learn to service hardened convicts..... pun intended.

It was. We had more than sufficient votes to recall the SOB. Then a Democrat judge said that in his opinion over 200,000 signatures didn't match and threw them out. Without allowing independent verification.

Elections have become non-existent in the new Democrat world.

His duplicity was known across the country and typified the "rules for thee and not for me" ethos, prevalent with politicians in general. From my lowly standpoint, way over here, you guys had a good case.

I moved from California in the mid 70's when they took the peoples 5th Amendment and just started on the peoples' Second. The only way I would enter that shit hole is as a military force to return their rights and then I would think twice since they gave those rights away. Couldn't talk my wife out of going there on vacation. My daughter was holding an unlit Marlboro and was given a ticket for smoking. The cop said he smelled the smoke when it hadn't been lit Only place in the country we have smell police. If you have out of state plates you will have moving violations. Traffic can be doing 80 but you go 3 miles over you will be paying at least 100 same as smoking. The state is bankrupt and cops like being paid. I put two petitions on line for all Californians to stomp their feet at the same time to give me the water front property I so much deserve here in Arizona.
