This is just to prevent us from getting dragged into a war with China, right? We've only had about 20 years since the country's inception without conflict of some sort.

Oh, is it time for Japan?
I wonder if this is in relation with the declining situation in eastern Europe. Is the US making sure its allies are well equiped incase of war? Or is this because Japan wants permission to build a real military instead of a SDF?
