On what planet is Hillary getting booed, DWS being forced to step down after the primaries were rigged, delegates walking out, people having to get paid to pretend to root for Hillary, and her own husband falling asleep during her speech is bad for the GOP?
Even Chelsea came off robotic and cold, just like her mom. Bill creeped people out with his talk of meeting a girl. Pelosi sounded like an airhead, as usual.
It is clear that the liberal media looks at Dems wearing rose-colored glasses. Nothing else explains how they can praise such a disaster.
You must not have watched the actual convention. The FOX recap didn't really tell the tale.
It was an awesome convention. The speakers were NOT all related to the candidate, and one of two family members who spoke was a past President. Nobody plagerized Michelle's speech. No musicians complained that their music was used without consent.
There was a positive inclusive atmosphere, no fear mongering. Actual policy was discussed, and what everyone needs to do.
This was an uplifting, patriotic convention, not an indoctrination session to the politics of fear.
Wait for the bounce.
If there was a bounce to be had, it would have already happened by now .. and in spite of your retelling of the RNC convention, it does not match the observations of even many republicans.
I wasn't re-telling the RNC convention, I was contrasting the differences between the RNC and the DNC, in response to Clementine calling the DNC a "disaster".
If you just listen to MSNBC, CNN and others who aren't even hiding their love for Hillary, then you'd think the convention was perfect. If you check out social media and look at all the comments from Sander's supporters and others who were protesting, you see a whole different picture. There were a few brave reporters who still take their jobs seriously instead of acting like PR people for the Dems.
Sander's supporters and many delegates walked out in disgust. Some went back in discovered that their seats were given away. Then people were hired and paid to act excited about Hillary. Telling when you have to pay people to do that when there aren't enough real supporters.
The liberal media didn't spend time interviewing Sander's supporters or any others outside the convention center. They didn't show all the empty seats.
There was so much booing going on inside. Not hard to figure out why they put in a white noise machine and did their best to filter out the boos during Hillary's speech.
There was flag burning outside the convention and angry protesters.
There were the rude people who shouted during what was supposed to be a moment of silence for the murdered cops.
The anger between Dems was staggering. Hillary and Bernie supporters do not get along. I don't support Bernie, but his supporters have every right to be angry. I have heard that there will be a lawsuit against the DNC, which would be warranted, IMO.
Of course, having DWS stepping down after the huge scandal was a great way to kick off the convention. Hillary hiring her immediately afterward didn't set well with many. Looked like a reward for rigging the primaries.
Chelsea's speech was lackluster. Bill's speech was awkward. Hillary's speech put Bill to sleep.
If you look at all the things the media deliberately chose not to cover, you realize it was a huge mess.
