Not my number one, but I got it in my Politics album. One of many Albums. Course because you served our Country and have a good sense of humor, I just might consider it for retirement. ;) ~BH

NP, Bol...I know you do it all in fun.

Many white demoncrat men in KY did not vote for Obama because he was black.
These are likely the same types "walking".

I voted for Obama and while not at all thrilled by his preformance to date am still convinced he beats the alternative the republicans put up.

although it really made no difference since my state went for Palin.

Funny, I wasn't aware Palin ran for President.

Millions of white men who voted for Barack Obama are walking away from the Democratic Party, and it appears increasingly likely that they'll take the election in November with them. Their departure could well lead to a GOP landslide on a scale not seen since 1994.

For more than three decades before the 2008 election, no Democratic president had won a majority of the electorate. In part, that was because of low support -- never more than 38% -- among white male voters. Things changed with Obama, who not only won a majority of all people voting but also pulled in 41% of white male voters. Suddenly, there were millions more white men voting the Democratic ticket.

Polling suggests that the shift was not because of Obama but rather because of the financial meltdown that preceded the election. It was only after the economic collapse that Obama's white male support climbed above the 38% ceiling. It was also at that point that Obama first sustained a clear majority among all registered voters, according to the Gallup tracking poll.

the comments are priceless..

So we have stupid whiTe men who are so dishonest as to NOT blame the WHITE men who caused the financial meltdown???? Well that would be just like a certain sort..... The REAL TRUTH? SINCE FUCKING WHEN HAVE BLACKS/MINORITIES BEEN IN CHARGE OF ALL THE FINANCIAL ENTITIES IN THIS COUNTRY? SINCE WHEN DO BLACKS/MINORITIES RUN EVERYTHING ON WALL STREET? SINCE WHEN DO BLACKS/MINORITIES OWN ALL OF THE MORTGAGE LOAN COMPANIES? SINCE WHEN HAVE BLACKS/MINORITIES/WOMEN BEEN A MAJORITY IN GOVERNMENT HIGH PLACES? But hey, whiteys like these are the sort of ass-puppets that are always looking to blame somebody else and NEVER take responsibility for what they have done....

Always amazes me how those who have had every advantage of the good old boys male white we run everything club and access to everything first can still produce such abject whining failures!

Let's see. Obama received 64,385,746 votes for POTUS. According to the article, he's lost 3 percentage points among white men. 3% of the vote total is 1.9 million. So, 'millions' are walking away since 'million's mean two or more. There is no data on whether or not these same people voted for a democrat for congress. However, let's assume that they did. If they voted for a democratic senator, they won't be voting again for that office until 2014. So, they can't undo that vote this year. So whatever impact they can have this november would appear to be limited to the house elections.

Ditto!

This is my favorite....

Bottom line: Whites played a big part in electing a "sort'a" African-American president, who's actually KENYAN-American lacking any family "roots" in the American black experience. But, he does have dark skin and African/Negro features so RACE wasn't an issue. So, what these voters are asking is: "OK, we elected a black guy. Now, can we please elect a competent, HONEST black guy?" Because we sure didn't this time!

If this guy was a poster here, I'd rep that.

Well this has always been what results from progressivism... as Progressives are not sufficiently heeled, intellectually speaking to avoid raw abuses of whatever fragment of power they happen to secure.

That's only because you're a wingnut. Any self respecting American citizen has an affinity for the truty.
