This is incredible. They cut back on DEI and blacks boycotted them for that. Blacks insist they must get black privilege in hiring and promotions.

May 21 2025 Retail giant Target revealed on Tuesday that customer boycotts damaged its sales in the first quarter, following the company’s January decision to scale back several diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) initiatives.

Sales fell 2.8% from last year to $23.85 billion, below the $24.23 billion Wall Street expected, with Target now expecting a low-single digit decline in annual sales for 2025, a significant downgrade from its March projection of a 1% increase.

According to the company’s earnings report, “Comparable sales decreased 3.8 percent in the first quarter, reflecting a comparable store sales decline of 5.7 percent and comparable digital sales growth of 4.7 percent.”

Target, previously a staunch supporter of leftist causes, announced in January it would phase out several DEI initiatives after criticism from conservative activists and the White House.
 
This is what happens when a store goes out of it’s way to be anti-inclusive....they folks they decied to warm up to--redneck lowlifes can’t support the local feed store much less a big box retailer. Thus sales are falling.

Target takes chances on fads that come and go. Unfortunately for Target, it didn't work for them, because they have a more socially together customer base. And they should have known that this shit wouldn't fly past their customer base, but they took a chance anyway.

Other companies made millions and billions off the woke craze. But these companies and organizations that made money off the woke derangement were themselves deranged. So, of course, crazy shops and buys from crazy.

As far as the tariff baiting bullshit goes, it's not specific to any company.........it's just flat across the board.

HellMart has announced they are raising prices because of Trumps tariffs..............even though they have NOT been hit with the reality of it yet. So that tells you how much they love fucking over their customers.

Target doesn't do that. They do what they can to keep prices down. Yes, I know they carry some expensive stuff, but it's not for a lack of trying to keep prices down.

Target will get thru this, and so will we all. Changing gears at 100 miles an hour isn't a wise thing to do, it CAN cause damage, unless you know EXACTLY what you are doing. And Trump knows EXACTLY what hes doing. We may have a rough ride for a SHORT while, while he grinds that clutch on the government..............but once the reorganization has been established, all will be well again. And hopefully we can all go back to paying prices like it's 1999.

Target took a blind or you can say an ignoramus kind of risk. What percentage of the population is gay, trans, or pro DEI. Companies take risk all the time but at least, a calculated one.
