(1). Putin agrees to a 30 day temporary cease fire. Trump, speaking for Ukraine, agrees. Start of ceasefire to be soon, but not immediate. Both sides will attack conspicuously during the short wait before the ceasefire.
(2). Second session, including Ukraine reps, will be scheduled. If it can't be scheduled during the initial ceasefire, the ceasefire will be extended.

That's it.

ceasefire to be sometime in the future? Don't stretch your prognostications too thin.

I also already noted this morning this was a meeting until the next one.

Putin strategy for the Summit

Trump does not speak for Ukraine.
Yes he does. As long as Ukraine is sucking on the US teat for sustaining its existence, it's dependent on the US. The following is a somewhat abstract analogy but maybe you can understand it because it is simplified. Children are dependent on their parents for their sustainment, parents make decisions for them up to a certain age. Same thing with Ukraine, see above.

We already threatened to pull funding. Other countries stepped up and said they would. We should have let them and stepped out.

We sadly think we must control everything.

Since Trump has consistantly tried to starve Ukraine of real US support, your point is false.

You announce the outcome of events that haven’t happened, and pretend what you made ups fact?

Trump is a Putin stooge. He will never speak for Ukraine. That’s just Ruzzian propaganda. You’re the child that doesn’t understand history and the folly of appeasing dictators.

Your Bidenista approach is quite boring. You bring nothing substantial into the conversation but the usual nonsense. The same is applied to this TimFitz fellow.

I don't have a lot of optimism that these talks will lead to any meaningful ceasefire, but it's certainly worth the effort.
Putin won't budge unless there is at least some land changing hands, but Zelensky has said there will be no territory concessions.

Maybe the whole point here is to force Zelensky's hand, or paint him as the one who ruined a ceasefire deal. He claims he doesn't have the authority to cede land since it violates their constitution.

I am sure you are angry if there is ceasefire and no one needs to die.

Ceasefires mean nothing if Putin cheats on it. They have already had a bunch.
Want to end the war? Russians keep their property and Ukraine joins NATO. Prisoners repatriated, including children, and all Ukrainians who want to leave occupied area may do so, verified by NATO.

We bring facts. Trump has been kissing Putin’s ass for a long, long time.

he campaigned for the friendship of the Russian dictator for 20 years.

He even offered Putin a $75 million bribe in the form of a condo in his dreamed of in Moscow.

Trump the candidate was well known to Moscow. Various Putin aligned oligarchs have laundered money through Trump condos since the 1980’s. Russian or Russian controlled banks held the mortgages on virtually all of Trump’s shady organization. They were well aware of Trump’s defaults, bankruptcies and litigation. They bailed Trump out of defaults several times.

He endorsed the invasion of Ukraine and has been trying to aid it for a decade.

Trump wants this summit. More than Putin does.

TACO chicken out on his plan to impose sanctions on Russia just a week ago.

Trump is playing Neville Chamberlain to Putin’s Hitler.

You bring nothing to the conversation other than Kremlin talking points.
