We keep getting told by white Trump supporting Republicans about how Blacks are running to the Republican party and pretty much act like they are the experts on being black. Here is a study that has been done over a 10 year time frame of black people by black people. Not some survey of 50 blacks and if 10 say they will vote for trump we see that right wing whites exaggerate thatto mean 20 percent of all blacks in America are turning away from Democrats or are supporting Donald Trump.

Introduction.

For the past few elections, National Black Women’s Reproductive Justice Agenda: In Our Own Voice has invested in rigorous and robust national surveys to better understand the voting and policy priorities, needs, and views among Black adults. In Our Own Voice commissioned Perry Undem to develop this poll ahead of a crucial 2024 voting cycle.

Many issues are on the minds of Black adults. Cost of living and racism / racial justice top the list.

If the presidential election were held today, a slight majority (55%) says they’d vote for the Democratic candidate.

Jamal Trulove, who appeared in The Last Black Man in San Francisco, told The New York Post that life was “good” under the previous Trump administration but has been on a downward trajectory ever since he left office.

“When we took at what our life was like when Trump was in office we felt like life was good compared to right now,” Trulove explained. “We wasn’t in no wars, right now we’re in wars. Illegals wasn’t coming in, but they’re coming in now.”


Trulove added that he could never vote for a woman who was responsible for his “being framed for murder.”

First, I'm black and would put "racial justice" at the bottom of my list.

Second, the poll was very biased. It was commissioned by the National Black Women’s Reproductive Justice Agenda. You can look it up, but the name itself screams far left. The poll was designed by an advocacy organization called Perry Undem. You can also look that up and see they advocate for things like "equity." That's not exactly impartial, and would reflect bias in the replies.

Third, the replies are indeed biased. The answers "cost of living," "crime," and "education," are relatively neutral, but the answer "racial justice" has extreme political bias.

Abortion "rights" is also extremely slanted to the left. The answer should just read "abortion." Same with LGBTQ "rights."

And sure, Gallup and Pew polls can be biased, but this "poll" by Perry Undem screams pure politics and agenda.

Harris did not prosecute this mans case.

Donald Trump was a private citizen who had nothng to do with aw enforcement wantedto execute 5 non white youths and even after they were found notto have committed the crimes til says they are guilty. Blacks voted for Harris to the senate. Blacks are supporting Harris now. I am voting for Harris. I don't care what Jamal Trulove thinks, because we were in wars during Trump. We aren't in any wars now. When trump took office border crossings were at a 40 year low. When he left office we had a crisis. We are better off today than we were duriing Trump. My understanding is that cost of living is almost always number one on such polls. People vote their wallet.

If only half of American Black voters intend to vote for Biden, that is a huge development, and could have a major impact on the results of November's election.

Philadelphia, for example, overwhelmingly votes for the Democrat (regardless of who it is), and that often carries Pennsylvania's Electoral Votes, since the state is about evenly divided outside Philly. I believe the same holds true in Georgia (Atlanta), Ohio (Cleveland), and Wisconsin (Milwaukee).

So when Fox News issues breathless headlines about Blacks swinging over to Trump, they are not even considering the possibility of Trump getting half or more than half of Black votes. 40% would absolutely give the Presidency to Trump.

With Latino voters, it's a split.
