Republicans and history. Unions, economics, political, it's all strange.

Republicans think that corporations were so generous and understanding that they just gave us weekends and overtime and benefits and 40 hour work weeks all on their own. Unions had nothing to do with that.

Regardless of all the data, Republicans are confident you can cut taxes forever and trickle down works.

Republicans believe that Lincoln was a Republican in the same manner that today's Republicans are. In fact, they are slightly divided on that. Half of the Republican believe that confederates never became conservative Republican. The other half believe that Lincoln was a confederate and the KKK still identifies with Democrats.

Whatever the history, recent or distant, Republicans seem to have that grasp. The same understanding they have for science and technology.
