It's too bad he injected the snarky joke which he was too stupid to know was racist ... or would be used to out his racism.

But the first part of his post was dead on as per criticism of the NBA stern left behind. It's pretty cynical, but probably accurate that there are probably only five, at most, players with ability really head and shoulders (-: over the rest. So, to keep an entire league going, basically you have a bunch of home town wannabees and the fans turning out to see barnstorming events.

The general sentiment of basketball players at the NBA level is without basketball, they would be nothing...
I believe he meant it from that standpoint.

But whatever.

A republican can have a black wife and it will be deemed he did it for political expediency.

He could have a black assistant and he will be criticized for not hiring that person at a higher level.
