The article gives us a lot of numbers about thousands of people losing jobs and then tells us that chemists are seeing the highest unemployment rate in over 40 years at 4.6%. The normal argument about unemployment is that 4% is normal just due to people changing positions and being out of work for short periods of time. Basically 4% is full employment. The article kind of shoots itself in the foot with those numbers.
