If the republicans want to filibuster a bill then I think that they should, but I needs to be a real fillibuster. They need to stop trying to get a bill that will get 60 votes and have all the lame compromises in it and instead need to work on a real full out government healthcare bill that will get the 50 dem votes. I ask then which republican will want to stand on the senate floor for hours, or even days and make a fool of himself because he is literally standing against progress and standing for the insurance compainies?
What are you yammering about?
The Dims don't have to worry about a filibuster because they already CAN invoke cloture.
GOP opposition to the currently proposed version of "health care" reform is not standing against "progress." It is standing against imbecility.
We can all recognize that health care delivery in America could stand some improvement. That does not mean that we are obliged to get behind yet more governmental interference and socialism to "get" the
manner of health care delivery changed. Recognizing that there may be a "problem" is not the same as agreeing on the manner of "solution."
The liberal Democratics have their heads up their asses. The PEOPLE don't want what those assbites are peddling.
