Gotta say, I feel a bit like a gullible rube. Because even I didn't think trump would violate the ethical red line of pardoning the violent criminals on his team after the circulation of campaign rhetoric to the contrary. Anyway, now that he has, don't hold back. You can say, "I really don't mind if he's using the presidency to enrich himself," or, "I'm okay with the US pulling out of the Paris climate accords cuz global warming is a Chinese hoax anyway," and still be critical of the charges for the guy swinging a baseball bat at Capital police officers being dropped.

We'll think the better of you even if Don doesn't.

It's okay to admit Zelensky is not a dictator as Don claimed, Ukraine isn't responsible for the Russian invasion, Patel isn't qualified to lead the FBI, the violent J6 criminals shouldn't have been pardoned, it's wrong to fire FBI agents involved in investigating trump, the government employee firings have been reckless, etc.

Don't feel obliged to support everything indiscriminately.
