Remember when the left canceled "Baby it's Cold Outside." We have truly lost our minds.

You make it sound bad to get rid of songs that glamorize getting women drunk and raping them?

'Getting' women drunk.

'Getting' women drunk

It must be nice to be able to play both sides of the fence?

To be both free, strong, and independent, yet, victims...who are forced inhibiting substances...and just have no ability to make a clear decision.

Odd that?

What if the man 'gets' drunk too?

Well...that's different you see...no one forced him to drink now did they?

Apparently women are feckless morons when left to their own end.

But they are STRONG...and INDEPENDENT...LEADERS.

Quietly go fuck off.

Oh please. I guarantee you that every single woman on this forum has had the experience of her date encouraging her to have another drink to “loosen” her up. The woman, assuming she’s an adult, has the right and responsibility to refuse the drink - and to stay or leave as she chooses.

And again, this song is MILD compared to the pornography they’re assigning high school kids in liberal districts.

You are right....what is the world coming to when males can't force themselves on females by hook or by crook....?
Why don't you just say what you really mean----sex between a man and woman is just disgusting to you whether it is by consent or not.

Probably one of those Mackinnon/Dworkin followers that thinks all male/female sex is rape to a certain degree.

How about Elvis's "Stuck on You"? "Hide in the kitchen, hide in the hall, ain't gonna do you no good at all". Kind of creepy when you think about it.

No, the song that expressed different times that was portrayed as a date rape song.

It was stupid to try and cancel that song.

I agree, times were different.... but not in a good way if you weren't white and male.

The woman clearly wants to stay but is worried about what people would think. There are versions of the song where the roles are reversed. The song is about flirtation in the 1940's, but that was back when women were women and men were men.

Does she clearly want to stay, "What's in this drink?"

Yeah, the 1940's, when you could slap that mouthy bitch if she got out of line.

Maybe confusion isn't the right word...

You've been told "Seduction song bad!"

So you're just believing as you've been told.

Not at all... the first time I ever gave it some though was about 10 years ago, when some ladies in the office were discussing it and pointing out some of the lyrics were... well, not cool in the 21st century.

Now, maybe we have gone too far in the other direction, where Al Franken has to resign because a STRIPPER said he played grabass with her on a USO Tour. (Hello, honey, you're a stripper, that's your job).

Nothing wrong with having a discussion about whether it's still an appropriate song to play on a radio station kids are listening to "Rudolf the Red Nose Reindeer" and "Frosty the Snowman".

I see you're not completely brainwashed yet.

You don't have a brain to wash.

You mean a song that glamorizes date rape might not have aged well?

You are confused Moon Bat.

It is the song where the guy is trying to talk the chick into letting him get a piece of her ass but she is playing coy.

You queer Moon Bats wouldn't understand.

No confusion at all...

It's about a guy who slips his date a roofie (or whatever the 1940 analog was) and talks her out of going home because it's snowing.

This will no doubt confuse future generations, because after Global Warming, we'll all forget what snow was.
You get more bitter and miserable by the day, don’t you, Walter?

I don't have to get women drunk to get laid... how about you?

Not only do you Moon Bats filth hate the song because you are faggots that don't like a man seducing a woman but you also hate it because the song mentions it being cold outside and you idiots think it undermines the global warming scam.

The real issue is the canceling of this song compared to the promotion of countless songs that explicitly glamorize sexual assault of women.

Hey, you are late for your shift at the Rape Crisis Center where you can slut-shame those victims.
Or the group outside the abortion clinic taunting that girl after that "date" left her pregnant

I find it difficult to dismiss you as just another brainwashed liberal - there's hope for you yet. :)

But as far as this song goes?

The liberal hysteria over it is exactly the kind of nonsense that causes so many to despise the puritanical Democrat hivemind & its never-ending need to find & burn non-existent witches.
