The murderers of Mohammed were 3 underage influenced by an adult (36-?)Very sad. I read that thousands attended his funeral--Jews, Muslims, Christians and Druze. Israeli Druze have always been very loyal Israeli citizens and have served in the IDF with distinction. From what I've read, he tried to save as many civilians as possible from those axe-wielding killers. Another brave Israeli Druze soldier died protecting Joseph's Tomb from the savage Arabs in the 1990's.DamnThat is so sad. He truly is a hero, but he leaves behind a family

On a side note, the Druze belong to a secret religion that broke away from Islam awhile back, for which they were persecuted. Some say that they are descended from Jethro, Moses' father-in-law.
I was listening to the news of his death on NPR's morning news, he was a traffic policeman who happened to be next door when it happened and they shot him in the head.
Reading about it -http://Police officer wounded in Jerusalem terror attack dies bringing death toll to 5 - is very reminiscent of the attack a couple of years ago here, on a Sikh temple. Many individual acts of bravery on the parts of ordinary people, but only cowardice on the part of the attackers.
There is no "bravery" and NO "heroism" in attacking unarmed people peacefully at worship.
Hamas' reaction and commendation of these acts is beyond redemption and goes to show they can not be any partners in any peace negotiations. If they they believed that the bus driver who hung himself, was killed by settlers - they could demand an independent autopsy or demand an autopsy be done with both Palistinian and Israeli doctors. Instead they chose to use the incident to increase the tensions with calls for violence against innocents - rather than calls for calm and calls for facts. I will give Bibi credit for this - he is calling for his people NOT to take the law in their own hands in revenge. Abbas seems to have done little to calm things. Hamas has done the opposite calling for more violence. This is when it's critical to calm not stoke the fires.
I don't agree, however, with Netanahu's demolishing of the homes of the families - that's extracting punishment on innocents. Get those who are guilty and bring them to trial along with any conspirators but don't destroy families and leave children homeless by punishing them for the acts of their relatives.
In case the family raises someone to become killers, then it's more than justified.
Take the next example. A reckless 17 year old boy drives beyond the speed limit and is arrested after almost running over someone. The clean law says the car could be taken away in such case. Bandaid to a broken leg, anyone? he'll just take another car for a wild ride. But lets say the cop calls the father and says, "your son's did this and that under your watch, come and pay fee."
Is this wrong? I don't think so. You raise your kid to be a bully and potential killer? pay the price for it.
If that is the case, Lipush, then why weren't the homes of the killer of Mohammed Abu Khedair demolished?
That was a racist(I agree with terrorist-)murder although the motive wasnt against Israel- fan club named 'La familia' - football.
Why should that make any difference? The homes should be leveled.
