Redneck vacation reality? give me a break

Are "rednecks" making money for the Madison Avenue yuppies or is it a bubble that is bound to burst? Can Americans really believe in scripted, edited shows that resemble the old 60's Beverly Hillbillies sit-com? Now they have a show called "redneck vacation. The plot usually centers around rich "rednecks" who are still trailer trash at heart and are dumber than a Detroit inner city kid but more dangerous with a gun. Put a rich redneck in cliched "merry olde England" and what could be funnier or more obnoxious or degrading? Take your pick.
