I have an adjustable chair in the gun room that I like but the pneumatics were going out and it would slowly sink and I'd have to get-up and readjust it.

I was just gonna drill it and put a bolt through it but instead I remembered a box of old wayward tools out in the garage that had a set of vice grips in it sooooo.

Worked like a champ, it's been a week and it's holding just fine.

Damn, I did not notice the dust....Took care of that too! ;)

5 pairs of Vice Grips. I know where 2 are. :eusa_doh:
I do know where the drill and bolts are, though. I like that one. :D

So the dust bothers you but have a rusty grippy thing holding up your stool doesn't...😕

Using vice grips is cheating.
Now if you fixed it with a coat hanger and duct tape..... that's redneck.
