Listen, I like the California of old that innovated and rewarded individual economic accomplishments, it is still a very unique and appealing state when those with any sanity demand it (and not support, say, illegal immigration and sanctuary cities for example). They have gone off track, much as Ontario in Canada has. We are bankrupt by most measures, and Cali is in far better economic shape, socially and otherwise. In the end though, study Ontario as it is the end result of certain crony capitalist policies I assure you.
