Red Jen Psaki back to blaming oil companies for gas prices after blaming Putin fails

Nah, I don't buy it being blamed on Putin. It should be be blamed on Big Oil and Exploration.

Marathon Oil, Diamondback Oil, Sandridge Energy, etc have all admitted on their February earning calls that they are increasing value to their shareholders and do not want to improve production.

LOL!

All you dupes who parroted the "Putin's price hike" line need to listen up. There's a new excuse for Joe Biden's incompetence. It's an oldie but a goodie, Obama loved this one:

Still think XL would have made everything hunky dory, right Ace?

Now now, it's time for "cha"EYE-NAH to step in and help their favorite son Joey. Shutting down their country by faking another batman incident to force oil prices down.

It would have lowered the cost of crude to US refineries that were retrofitted to crack the tar sand Canadian oil, idiot. It is much more expensive to ship by train and way more dangerous, how many Canadian towns do derailed trains have to burn down before nitwit Biden figures that out? Now Canada is going to build a pipeline west thru the Rockies and ship straight to China.

Probably having a president who didn't promise to "end fossil fuel" would have been better.

Indeed. Apparently, the green lobbyists forgot to check how feasible their plan was to actually work beyond paper. Even the pro-green experts are fully aware that the US is not ready for the switch, yet...here we have the progs raising the call for full speed ahead regardless of consequence. They must either not read what experts in the field are saying, or, they are financially invested and have gone too far in rhetoric to back down now. The good news is, voters will speak loudly in 2022 and 2024, including Californians that could not charge their electric cars recently due to grid shut down lol Now that it what happens when stupid people are in charge, seriously. Hey, let's do X so we'll look good to the world and feel like we're really doing something to save the planet! What a crock.

Side note: It matters not what America does folks with these lackluster efforts to reduce carbon, when China's output outweighs all countries combined. Mostly likely, as China approaches their promise date of capping output in a few years, it will be extended to a future date. What will the US do when that happens, say, "Hey now, you made a promise so we are going to sanction you?" Are Americans ready for frequent national grid outages with no means of transportation? Not me says the little flea, nor many others thankfully. We'll see in 2024 what goes down:)

In his 1st year Biden did everything he could to stop domestic oil and gas production, as he said he would on numerous times. So, someone tell me, has he reversed any of those actions? What has he done to open up the process of oil and gas production and make it easier? You know, like it was prior to his inauguration? Did he un-cancel the XL Pipeline? On his 1st day in office, Biden revoked Trump's EO 13783 to streamline the oil and gas leasing processes and unburden the development of US energy sources. Has he reinstituted that? Why not?

It takes 140 days or so for the feds to approve a drilling permit versus two for the state of Texas. Why is that? What has Biden done to speed up that process? Producers are developing leases more slowly since they don’t know when more will be available. Offshore leases were snapped up at a November auction because companies expect it might be the last one.

When did Biden stand at the White House and declare that his Administration will support the development of U.S. oil and gas? Has he rescinded all regulations designed to curb production, development and consumption and announce a moratorium on new ones? When did he expedite permits, and encourage investment?

The reason there are 9,000 undeveloped oil leases is because companies do not want to invest the massive amounts of money and manpower necessary to drill for oil when from Day 1 the Biden administration has constantly threatened to impose new or increasing taxes, fees and regulations on the industry, and “working like the devil” through all the financial institutions to cut off their funding and “bankrupt them.” With the ban on lease sales on federal lands, Biden has shown the U.S. oil industry through his actions that he does not want to do business with them. He would rather import oil from OPEC, Venezuela and Iran than to further develop the U.S. oil industry. His actions speak louder than his words.

Where is the link to a credible source that quotes them as saying that?

And she's spot on too.

So, let's say the price of gas stays the same as it was on Jan 19th 2021, okay? The demand went way up but the supply didn't, so what is the inevitable result? We run out of oil at $3/gal, no? Anybody here remember what it was like back in the mid 70s during the oil embargo? Sometimes gas stations had no gas to sell. Would you rather have $5 gas or no gas at all? It ain't like the oil companies can just turn on a switch and presto we got tons of gasoline.
