She wasn't on the other side of a barricaded door... You obviously have never watched the video.

She was lifted by a friend and climbing through the smashed broken door window in the locked set of doors, and was inside the Chamber side, she had begun to pass through in to the house chamber side, when her left upper shoulder was shot, and the shot went through her shoulder and in to her neck, which sadly... turned out to be fatal.
