Those mask and vaccine manufacturers aren't the only ones enjoying the fruits of everyone else's struggling these days. The average Wall Street bonuses for traders and brokers is over $180,000, more than most family households bring in all year ....Big Pharma isn't hurting either...... Pfizer made $36 billion on vaccines alone this year,

An interesting phenomenon happened in mid-to-late 2020 and during 2021. A large number of people who were bored and stuck at home resorted to day trading. The stock-buying frenzy sent prices to all-time record highs.

According to arguments in another thread we have to do this. It would be horrible if we didn't so you should be happy that people are paying record prices for everything so that those on Wall Street can get record bonuses.

The government needs to bleed those who are successful more than they already are, right? :rolleyes-41:

Why is it that the government should be continuing to feed them? Free is good as long as it's wall street?

The government doesn't feed them, we feed them, right?
It's our money that the government takes, they would be penniless if not for us.

Take? No one is taking the billions and billions and billions we continued to pump into the markets.

Trump ( the only Republican I ever voted for ) had the economy rolling until the planDemic came along.

If the economy had really been that good there was no reason for the continued pumping which Trump continued to call for. If the economy was so good, that is the time you raise taxes to address the debt, not continue to raise the debt. If the economy was so good you don't call for negative interest rates.
