Agreed. TV is killing itself. As if 40-50% commercials isn't bad enough, 5-6 years ago, I was a huge fan of The Orville on Fox, but a season was like only 8 episodes then they went on hiatus for two years then came back on a streaming service you had to buy into just to watch that one TV show. Bye.

The commercials never end. And they are even timed to be at the same time if you change the channels. As a child one hour shows in the 1960's were like 52 minutes. it seems the same new ere one are 40 minutes or less.

As a kid, commercials were 2 minutes each, 15 minutes apart. You had to race to go to the bathroom or grab a snack with people hollering the show was back on because there was no pausing it. Now I bet some networks must be approaching 40-50% commercial time. It is hard to turn the TV on or change channels randomly and NOT catch commercials! And if I go to watch a channel, usually if programming is on, within 10 seconds, they go to a commercial break!
