Are you sure you want to take that approach? If you do, you open the door to, "Quid Pro Joe won because of leftwing media" and you would have a very difficult time denying it because the major media by and large flat out hates Orange Man and would do anything to keep him out of office. In fact, they spent more time and energy on him during the 4 years of the Quid Pro Joe disaster than they did on the guy with the actual power.
