I know a few people who are ravers. Their mantra is PLUR which stands for peace, love, unity, and respect. Has anybody ever been to one?

Several. Though was working security. I love em but for the large number of people, more than a few of whom are on drugs acting unpredictably. Love the music, the people, just not the chaos.

...Of course, a rave without chaos and unpredictable people is just line dancing.
