As more individual markets suffer consequences, gross markets will gain force.
The consumer drives influence over individual markets, so to survive, those markets will join with other like minded markets to prosper.

The further away from the individual market, they can gather support, the more resources they have to work with.
Much like the desire to make issues Federal on the political stage, in attempts to leverage opinion outside of immediate location to influence policy.

When things are left to the basic consumer, the market controls itself.
When the gross market begins to strive for monopoly in opinion, it turns into a beast.

It's a little odd that the article is tying a 4 year ratings decline to an LGBTQ agenda, but only points out instances of such an agenda from 2 weeks ago.

Current instances are the most demonstrative of the agenda. There is no real need to outline four years of slow-building indoctrination to tell the story.

The fact remains that people of sound mind will resist having their children indoctrinated with woke criteria that they oppose.

Sure...or they are being disingenuous and mention a long-term ratings decline together with the LBGTQ agenda in an attempt to link the 2, even though they are not?

I don't watch Nickelodeon, I have no idea what kind of crap they are broadcasting, nor what changes may have been made to their broadcasts over the last 4 years. But saying 'Nick has had a 4 year ratings decline!' 'Nick has shown LBGTQ agenda stuff in the past couple of weeks!' does not show any sort of connection.

Since the 1980s, I have watched Nickelodeon, Disney and other kid programming as well from time to time to see exactly what they are doing. Raising a child demanded it.
