"... raped by her uncle t... has to carry the child to term?"

I think abortion is horrible but forced gestation is worse. It is not the job of the state to force someone to do certain things with what is growing in their bodies.
What do you do with the children of forced gestation? What about the mother that has grown to love them? To be equitable the products of rape should be aborted no matter how old they are. Amanda Berry was kidnapped and repeatedly raped. She was forced to gestate, forced to give birth and forced by pain of physical beating to raise the child. When Amanda Berry was rescued she took her daughter with her. Why was this girl not aborted in a post birth abortion?

While the real reason that the Left.....the forces arrayed against the values of Western Civilization, ie, the value of human life....opposes any restrictions on abortion, is the gratification of the desire to use abortion as birth control, a Mississippi law is about to put this question in the spotlight yet again.

1. "On Sunday's State of the Union show. CNN host Jake Tapper fretted over a Mississippi law that tries to abolish abortion after 15 weeks of pregnancy, bringing up the issue of the bill not allowing rape as an exception to the 15-week rule.

After Tapper raised the law by asking Governor Tate Reeves (R-MS) if he hoped that that it would result in the U.S. Supreme Court overturning Roe v. Wade, and then followed up: "And what do you say to a Mississippian who says, "Why are you telling a girl who has been raped by her uncle that she has to carry the child to term?"

2. What is most interesting is not that the Left objects to the 15-week as the time of viability outside the womb.....as of now it is about 20 weeks.......but that they are not claiming that either the unborn is a human being, or that it would go on to be a human being sans the bloody hands of the infanticide party killing it.

3. Now......the hand-wringing over carrying a child created by incest or rape....
By now, most know- whether they will admit it or not- that abortion is basically the coward's chosen method of birth control.

3. Never mind the bogus 'incest, and rape' ....

The concept that there are "cases of rape or incest" is a chimera
They really don't exist.....well, the fact is that 98.5% of abortion don't involve either abhorrent event.

The cases in which abortion is for rape, 1%; and .5% incest.http://www.guttmacher.org/pubs/psrh/full/3711005.pdf

How about simply outlawing all fetus-murders that don't involve incest or rape?

Are Democrats down with that???

4. The overwhelming basis used for killing the unborn is convenience.

Convenience, as in having your groceries delivered rather than having to walk across the street to pick them up.....this level of effort in deciding to execute the child you've created.

Nearly all abortions are based on the birth being inconvenient......as though the 'client' didn't know about the causation of pregnancy,

5. And let's be clear: the Democrat Party is fully in favor of killing not just the unborn, but the new born as well.
Democrat Virginia Governor, and medical doctor, Northam, adhered to and explained that Democrat principle, here: "If a mother is in labor, I can tell you exactly what would happen. The infant would be delivered. The infant would be kept comfortable. The infant would be resuscitated if that’s what the mother and the family desired, and then a discussion would ensue between the physicians and the mother," Northam said, alluding to the physician and mother discussing whether the born infant should live or die.” Fake News: Liberal Rag Says Trump Lied About VA Governor's Support For After Birth Abortion. Uh, There's Tape.

Do you need the definition of 'infanticide'?

“What happens when the mother and doctor decide not to let the infant live?

Do they withhold care and let the infant die on its own or do they kill the infant? And how?

The media claims Trump’s comment is incorrect, but no one in the abortion industry will answer the question.”
What Happens to a Child Born-alive? The Media Won’t Tell Us.

"Exactly zero Democratic senators voted to protect pain-capable children? Have they not been paying attention to the laws in states like Illinois, New Mexico, New York, Vermont, and Virginia? The Democratic governor of Virginia — a man considered a moderate in his party — proved on live radio that the Post’s description is inaccurate.

A born, living human being—with no human rights. That is the position of the Democratic Party. The Democratic platform calls for worldwide, unlimited, taxpayer-funded elective abortion on demand. Not only that, but the Democratic establishment also promises a litmus test for federal judges who will rule without fail for elective abortion on demand, no matter what the law or facts provide. The Democratic establishment is a hotbed of abortion extremism the likes of which we have never before seen on a national scale.”
Washington Post Lies About Democratic Party’s Support For Infanticide

I don't have much faith in the Supreme Court.....

......but I do know the difference between right and wrong.
Interesting that you compare the “Inconvenience” of a life changing decision on having a child and starting a family to something as utterly mundane and forgettable as whether or not you have to walk across the street to get your groceries. I guess that shows how much righties really value it.

Every time I see a nice white couple with 3,4 or 5 children I make it a point to tell them what a beautiful family they have
Disagree with everything but this.

As for the rest, holding people accountable for the kids they bring into the world isnt encouraging anything except to do right by the child

How about simply outlawing all fetus-murders that don't involve incest or rape?

Are Democrats down with that???
To be clear I support the right to abort but it's not a deal breaker for me as I agree with you and have said several times here that the left has no moral/immoral interest in it, it is just simply a matter of convenience for them.

As for your suggestion above, I think the white liberals that are the vanguard for abortion on demand would probably jump all over that and welcome it with a parade, they would just find a way through the courts to make all abortions fit in to those two categories and even have some dictionary definitions changed to make sure all abortions qualify! they had to do that very thing to make sure racism in America didn't die.

1. The real life-changing decision took place when the prospective parent engaged in an act that created another human being.

2. Abortion is essentially always based on convenience.
. The vast majority of abortion performed in the United States are carried out for reasons that can be broadly categorized as “matters of convenience.”

Nearly every abortion is based on convenience.....Convenience, as in having your groceries delivered rather than having to walk across the street to pick them up.....this level of consideration in deciding to execute the child you've created.

In a study of 27 nations, reasons for abortion services were found to be the following:

a. “Worldwide, the most commonly reported reason women cite for having an abortion is to postpone or stop childbearing. The second most common reason—socioeconomic concerns—includes disruption of education or employment; lack of support from the father; desire to provide schooling for existing children; and poverty, unemployment or inability to afford additional children. In addition, relationship problems with a husband or partner and a woman's perception that she is too young constitute other important categories of reasons.” Reasons Why Women Have Induced Abortions: Evidence from 27 Countries

b. A 2004 study of American women yielded similar results: “The reasons most frequently cited were that having a child would interfere with a woman’s education, work or ability to care for dependents (74%); that she could not afford a baby now (73%); and that she did not want to be a single mother or was having relationship problems (48%). Nearly four in 10 women said they had completed their childbearing, and almost one-third were not ready to have a child. Fewer than 1% said their parents’ or partners’ desire for them to have an abortion was the most important reason. Younger women often reported that they were unprepared for the transition to motherhood, while older women regularly cited their responsibility to dependents.”

c. We must reject the view that inconvenience of a mother’s informed choice outweighs the unalienable right to life of the child she bears by virtue of that choice.

There are so very many things your sort seems not to know.

Pretty tortuous way to simply agree with my premise.
But thank you.

Coulter put it this way:

The only limit on liberal insanity in this country is how many issues liberals can get before a court…A lot is at stake for liberals with the court. If they lose a liberal vote, they will be forced t fight political battles through a messy little system know as ‘democracy.’

nope. Never

Look, we both know it was a mistake for you to have claimed that the unborn isn't even a human being.

You simply have to come to terms with your view that the killing is allowable under what you term morality.

"principles concerning the distinction between right and wrong or good and bad behavior."

For me, it is an argument for God, that individuals cannot make up their own meaning for 'morality.'

" When morality became privatized, the questions “what is right” became “what is right for me.”
"The World Turned Upside Down," Melanie Phillips, chapter 14

morality is subjective. By nature.
I dont see it as a human being. It doesnt fit the biological definition of it.
I understand the emotion behind it, though.

It is only subjective to those who don't believe there is a God.
Fascists, Nazis, Liberals, Progressives, Socialists, Communists, Democrats

Im none of those and i think it is subjective.
Again, you ignore what words actually mean and focus on your emotion.
No point in discussing things with someone whos whole opinion is emotion driven.
Good day!

^good job there^...the far left has turned out an entire class of "socially" educated Americans [as opposed to academically educated] who are ill equipped at debating anything deeper than the latest TV sound bite, when they attempt it they end up with a verbal self face plant [just view the post by one of them about you referencing "abortion" and "walking across the street" to get an idea of what I mean]...
All a left wing college diploma really is, is a receipt for their tuition stamped diploma.

Yup.

Really sad to see this trajectory of our once great nation.

I'll be sending you the application to our Pessimist Club.....

There are so very many things your sort seems not to know.

The problem is that I don’t care. The problem from your point of view anyway.

It isn’t my place to tell anyone that the fetus within them is valuable beyond compare. It isn’t my place to tell them it is worthless. It is my place to insure their rights are protected. As it is every single citizen in this nation. That is my duty. To support and defend the Constitution.

But let’s say for the sake of argument that you are right. One out of ten thousand women choose abortion for rape or incest. Let’s say one out of a hundred thousand.

It doesn’t matter. No way in hell is the public going to support forced carrying of the child. So the exception will be made. And there your problems really begin. Thousands of men will face false rape charges as women seek to get rid of the child. Thousands of innocent men will go to prison. Thousands? Probably tens of thousands.

Furious about Opioids and other drugs being smuggled in? Wait. Ban abortion and the biggest and most profitable drug to be smuggled will be the morning after pill.

You see the one thing your argument does not deal with is reality. History shows us that if people want it they’ll get it. Alcohol during prohibition. Finding a drink was easy. Despite the fact it was illegal. Drugs? We have been fighting the war on drugs for most of my life. Have we stopped drugs? Slowed it? Done anything but keep the people buying the drugs paying Ferrari prices for a Kia?

Prostitution has been illegal for centuries. It’s online and available easily.

If people want it. They’ll find it. Someone will provide it.

Gambling. The laws against it didn’t end the cornered market on gambling. Every street corner shop had someone who booked numbers. Sports bookies were found in every bar. Laws prohibiting it didn’t do a thing to stop it.

So what finally ended the gambling profits to the Mafia? The States legalized it. Numbers became the daily cash three. Lotteries put the Mafia out of business as far as gambling was concerned. Yes they bought casinos but were sort of legit after a while.

The point is that if people want it they will get it.

If they want Abortions they’ll get them. RU-486 will be the first thing smuggled in. And every woman will have a half dozen sitting in their cabinet waiting for the day.

All you will do is enrich the cartels.

And flunky Med students will run a clinic that does abortions on the side. They might cost a little more. But nothing will change.

Oh you’ll catch a few. But most won’t be.

And every time you catch one two more will crop up. Just like the war on drugs. The cops raid a neighborhood and round up the dealers. While the cops are processing the prisoners and writing reports new dealers are out and doing business.

Catch one smuggler and two more set out the next night. Catch them and ten more set out.

Laws based upon morality are never enforceable. They never have been.

I suppose you had the same view of the Holocaust.
I guess that's both your problem, and who you are.
