Obama had a law degree and held political office prior to running for the Senate. AynRand Paul had NO political experience and apparently is sorely lacking in the "executive experience" department the right is so fond of in their Presidents.
But with that being said, I agree that he's qualified....as was Obama. The right just refused to admit that about Obama and now are going to look like a bunch of hypocrites if they try and pass Rand Paul off as their nominees.

Rand will have 6 years or so in the Senate, he will have voted 10 times more than Obama on bills and read 100% more of them. It's not how long you sat around, it's what you did during that time that matters.

People who admire Rand Paul define a "moderate" as someone who believes we should legalize crack cocaine and heroin, end the Federal Reserve and the FAA and the USDA and the FDA, shrink the military down to the size of a cub scout troop, eliminate all federal safety regulations and all federal environmental regulations and all child labor laws, and wears a propellor hat.

Even though I disagree with him on a lot of issues I actually like Rand Paul, and don't think he would make a bad POTUS. That said, Obama still had just as much experience, if not more than Rand Paul. As SoS, a Senator, and First Lady Hillary Clinton has more experience than both combined. IF she runs I predict she would mop the floor with Rand Paul.
