Bad as he is, he is something of an improvement over the other options.
Yeah. That seems to be the trend. Trends are a great indicator of how people really stand. If we go back to 2014 Mid-Term, the number of Independent voters in America was 50%. That's a number they don't really talk about much. Support for the two party system is falling every year. Every year the prevailing trend is that more and more people are fed up with this fake two-party system.
In fact, Independent third party candidates in the 2014 Mid-Terms had the highest polling numbers in modern history.
Debate rules were changed because libertarians did so well that they were meeting the debate threshold. Independence party candidates were actually blocked from debates, even though they'd already won the right to do so. Third party candidates were illegally removed from ballots in places like Ohio where candidates like John Kasik didn't have to face a libertarian candidate because he was too much of a threat. But they were still strong enough to tip elections and force runoffs. We saw candadates in the libertarian party running as high as 30%. It's unprecedented.
The point is, that no, we don't always win at the ballot box. It's simply rigged.
But. 50%. That's the trend. Trump was an anomaly. He showed up at just the right time, it was smart of him to do, too, and don't think for one second that the people at the higher levels weren't aware of that 50%. They didnlt like it and they were gonna do something about it. They didn't like Trump, but they knew he's all they had to make em smell less like crap at a time when 50 percent of registered voters were not affiliated with either sides of the fake two party system.
Anyway. Trump is a passing whim. We'll have 6 more years of him, max. After that, the GOP is pretty much crying in the wildreness. Their base isn't organized at all, well about as organized as a box of rocks anyway.
There's a fortune of the electorate out there just waiting to be had. 50%.
It's why we hear the talking heads talk so much about everybody should be a moderate. lol. Then we see it all over the Internet, even boards like this one, moderates this, moderates that, no **** that. Last thing we need are more moderates. They're generally just okay with pretty much all of the bad anti-liberty legislation coming from both parties in Washington. And always because unity.
Main point of education right now is educate your fellow Independents about the reality of that ''lets all be moderates'' gag the fake two-party system runs whenever there's an election and whenever they want to pound us all nice and good with a piece of anti-liberty legislation. Because that's what they want Independents for. They want to claim and manage them, redefine them as moderates versus what they really are, Independents, then they want to use them to control the narrative. And to keep a steady flow of anti-liberty legislation popular in the eyes of voters. I'm sure Toby Kieth will probably sing a song about unity, too, then everybody will be running around talking about hey, lets all be moderate because unity. Sigh.
