Race and Adoption

The author of this article seems to want an examination of underlying racial issues, but the tone is a bit ungrateful to parents who fed, clothed, and raised her with love.

Many complex issues involved though, it would seem.

My Brother in Law and his wife adopted two brother Black kids. One an infant and the other two years old.

The kids were raised in a Christian Middle Class family. Lots of love and support. Sent to private school and provided with anything they needed or wanted. The four daughters the family raised turned out to be wonderful women. Great wives, mothers and leaders in the community.

The two little Negro boys turned out to be assholes. One of them is on probation after being in jail for three years and the other one is still in jail. They turned out to be street thug druggies,

The family now says it was a dumb thing to adopt those Negroes.

You can take a Negro out of the ghetto but you can't take the ghetto out of the Negro.

She should be more grateful, because without the White parents, she would probably be dead, or on crack, have had 5 kids from 5 different babby daddies, illiterate and/or living in the street. And for sure wouldn't have a book deal.
