If yes, why isn't that enough? Why do you need an unproven link between pollution and climate in order to fight pollution?

If you were out there fighting pollution, 99% of humans would support your fight. But when you try to claim that pollution is changing the climate you lose 60% of the supporters.

You've accidentally made a point I've made before, but you falsely conclude that the polluters would be more agreeable to not polluting if no one talked about climate change.

No, my point is that most of the followers of the religion of AGW and the prophet algore are not out to stop man made pollution, they are out to control the actions and lives of humans on earth. No one thinks that polluting our air and water is good or should be tolerated.

So, once again, why not just concentrate on fighting pollution and let the scientists have theoretical arguments about the climate? Which, by the way, is controlled by the sun, not soccer moms driving big SUVs.

Humans pollute, they do not change the climate of planet earth. the climate of our planet has been changing for hundreds of millions of years and will be changing hundreds of millions of years after humans disappear from the earth. Human activity has never had anything to do with climate. Even if we had all out nuclear war, the impacts would be temporary in terms of the life of planet earth.

If you think we need to dumb down the conversation to make a difference, then that’s an interesting point. But people don’t care about pollution either. Look at how many people want the EPA to stop existing. Look how many people rallied around building a pipeline under a source of drinking water in North Dakota, even though they’ll never see a cent or benefit whatsoever from that pipeline. They just wanted it built to stick it in the face of people worried about water being polluted.
