A: The interest on our national debt:

If Democrats would agree to some of Donald Trump's cost cutting ideas, and the Trump administration would shelve its tax cut plans and close even half of the tax loopholes (especially for the rich) America would have the resources to fund government operations in full as well as begin to pay down our 36 trillion-dollar+ national debt. America is now leveraged to the hilt, like some piss poor South American banana republic. The deficit for each taxpayer is now over $300,000.00.

Conservatives and Liberals don't have to like each other, but cooperation on just this one issue would be a good thing for everyone.

What is your objection to eliminating 1 TRILLION DOLLARS of recurring costs that could be directly applied to servicing the debt? Please be specific why you object to this.

Just as an aside, the defense budget and the military spending budget are two completely different budgets.

The "RICH" pay the overwhelming majority of federal taxes.
Tax cuts have favored the lower tax brackets with greater percentage cuts for the lower brackets than the higher brackets. The bottom quartile hardly pays any federal taxes at all!
Some "independent" you are, listening to Democrats spew their class warfare and eating it up.
Massachusetts tried some "soak the rich" tax schemes years ago to make yachts far more expensive.
People stopped buying yachts in Massachusetts. Hanoi John Kerry even docked his boat in a nearby state to avoid the high dock fees (taxes). Kerry also buys tax exempt bonds with his wife's Heinz fortune.
He doesn't want to pay taxes, he just wants to slap Republicans in the face with hypocrisy and "tax the rich" rhetoric.

Incidentally, what is bigger than the defense budget is social welfare - social security and medicare plus billions more for illegals under the Biden Regime.
