I've always maintained that it's up to the Ukrainians to determine their future, including whether or not they want to lose more citizens. It's easy for others far away to be Gung-ho about fighting the Russians when they're not the ones risking their necks.

I feel the same. But, if they wish to be free of Russian aggression, and want to fight to keep their freedom from the tyranny of Putin, I am in favor of any material support, they need. Presently the majority is being given by our European allies, as they have the most to lose, if Ukraine is abandoned, defeated or bargained off by Trump to please Vlad.
