Putin is Not Our Problem

The slant of this article is to warn against radical Islam but makes some otherwise very good points. A very wide man gave us this warning:

“Nearly two centuries ago, President John Quincy Adams warned his successors against the foreign policies that would be manifest in the Bush/Obama years. ‘Americans should not go abroad to slay dragons that they do not understand in the name of spreading democracy.”

Truer words were never spoken and I personally feel that many of our problems stem from our leaders not heeding those words.

Another truth of history is also being ignored. You can fight spears and arrows but you can't fight beliefs without bringing them to the light. Turning our backs on threats doesn't make them go away.
