You must judge an action on its own merits ----- right/wrong , good /bad etc ----- before even begiining to think about its effects on other matters/people .
Trumpfy has decided rightly , imho , to remove the US from a spineless and effectively corrupt body .

As it happens , this has zero effect on the scuffle in Ukraine as that war is over with Kyiv totally crushed .

If that disagreement continues, with Russia marching toward Odessa and then the Romanian border , that will be an open conflict beteeen Russia and NATO because Kyiv has run out of everything including fighters .

Presently the US has no negotiating strengths unless Trumpfy can find new sanctions that work .
Highly unlikely , given the complete failure of sanctions against Russia to date .
In this scenario it is largely irrelevant what Dear Uncle P feels, though I suspect he will approve of an action which he effectively agrees with , if only for obvious personal reasons .
