Tell me Putin, why on earth should the Ukrainians care whether you want them to have a new election or not? get the heck out of their affairs and let them take care of it cause if you think we will let you resurrect the Soviet Empire you are dreaming.

How exactly would it buffer him? we have alaska that isnt very far from Russia at all. If he got out of line we could still take him out. Course wed probably die from counterstrikes but maybe by the time we needed to we would have the SDI complete.

It's a symptom of the psychological phobia of the west that's solidly ingrained in the psyche of most Russians.
