He was a JAG officer for SEALs. That's like being a Deuce And A half driver for Green Berets.

He never did UDT training or went to BUDs school to get qualified. He was in the support company.

And I did make the point that DeSantis wasn't a qualified SEAL.

The point I was making is that the SEALs should have pick of the litter when it comes to REMFs in their Unit.

I can well remember way back in the 60's the statist left marxinazis engaging in racial discrimination, property vandalism/destruction, physical assault, anti capitalism activity & other nefarious activities. It's no secret that the statist left harbors narcissistic tendencies to the max & no where is this more obvious than the statist left's attitude of " my business is my business & your business is also my business." With the statist left there is never a shortage of grouped up group thinkers looking for "a cause" & a leader to lead them.

I learned how to drive 2 1/2 tons and 5 tons as well as jeeps, Cut Vs, and Hummers. I even learned how to ride 250 Yamahas when I was on a team.

The fact that he was in JAG for the SEALs only means he knows a few of the team guys. He got to dress up in their gear once or twice and act like a warrior, but he never carried a ruck for a living, or trained on explosives with the team. He was their lawyer.

Yeah, I was there too.

In retrospect, it all started out okay. Live, love, don't be violent, don't conform, don't live your life how others want you to. I can understand, though I may or may not agree with it all, I can understand it. Pretty cool.

Then the USSR sent its agitators in. Not bullshit, they really did (we sent ours to them as well). They infiltrated the student body at dozens of influential universities and then got into the Faculty and Admin part as well.

It went from a Peace movement (who can argue with 'peace'?) to liberation ideology to hate, to more liberation ideology that devolved into victimology that devolved into -- Shit. Which is where it is now.

Go back and look at it. Some of it, especially early on, was really cool. Lots of 'Jesus Freaks' lots of Hair, remember Godspell? JC Superstar?

Then the socialists and communists moved in and -- It all went to shit.

It has been said, mostly by me, that the only victory the communists got out of Viet Nam was the Draft Lottery. Had it not been for that, we wouldn't have had a problem. Didn't need those sissy boys anyway. More trouble than they were worth.
