"South Florida's show of support for the Cuban people continued Tuesday with demonstrators shutting down a section of a major Miami-Dade highway for hours following massive protests on the island nation. Palmetto Expressway had to be closed down near Coral Way as demonstrators sat down and began blocking traffic. Footage showed Florida Highway Patrol troopers and Miami-Dade Police officers directing traffic off the highway as a massive backup of cars could be seen."

It is very encouraging to see demonstrations and mass protests take place in Florida in solidarity with the protesters in Cuba -- and it's also good news to see that DeSantis won't be arresting any of them for taking to the streets to petition their government to take action in Cuba...because there was this little law that he signed a few months ago.......

"DeSantis signed an anti-protest bill a few months ago that punishes those who block roads, subjects protesters to criminal charges even if they aren’t involved in rioting --- We’re not going to let the mob win the day,” DeSantis said in April when he signed the bill. Now DeSantis and GOP political leaders like Lt. Gov. Jeanette Nunez and House Speaker Chris Sprowls, who enthusiastically supported the protest crackdown in Florida, are cheering on a different mob."

Now you already know the LGBTQ-cancel-culture-commie-CRT-BLM/ANTIFA Deep State-woke mob will cry double standard and wahh wahh...so what.....we all knew that protest law was meant for the bad guys who blocked traffic, raped innocent people, looted stores and burned down entire cities -- they weren't protesting injustice or oppression, because there is no oppression or injustice here -- so you can't compare them to Cuban-Americans here fighting oppression in Cuba.

There is a solution:

DeSantis signed a law earlier this year making it a second degree felony for everyone on that road.

Seems that’s selectively enforced…
