Proof democrats care nothing about democracy

Yes, it is, and that has exposed a major flaw in not having a Constitution.

I think you have it wrong there. It isn’t “one side” by any means. The dissent is coming from a broad swath of the Israeli public including their military.

And what about the parliament being able to overrule any court ruling? Selecting judges? There is no Constitution to set limits on the parliament or judiciary. If there were…you wouldn’t need “reasonable”.

Neither does Canada and GB.

Everyone is pretty much in their Military.

The court overreached due to political reasons, and the duly elected government replied for political reasons.

Their Supreme Court found out about fuck around and find out.

Canada has one.

Britain doesn’t have one in a single document, but is layed out in multiple documents.

Israel has it’s Basic Laws but they do not lay out the scope and limitations of each of the branches nor do they define how religion and state will relate to each other.

Canada is the same, it has multiple documents, not a single constitution.

Then they should get cracking on it, until then what Netanyahu's government has done is perfectly legal under the basic law framework.

The White House on Monday condemned Israel parliament for passing Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's preferred sweeping judicial reforms that sparked protests throughout the country, a further sign of how President Joe Biden is trying to exert his own influence from afar.

"It is unfortunate that the vote today took place with the slimmest possible majority," White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said in a statement.

But a majority nonetheless, hence democracy
Trump is really pissed off about this.
If he'd been smart enough to pass legislation exempting him from any criminal prosecution when he had the whole government he be in the catbird seat today.
That's what happens when you're only a little smarter than the MAGAT following you.

They’ve tried and it’s never gone anywhere:

What Netanyahu’s government has done is legal. And if I understand the laws correctly, their Supreme Court can overturn it, legally. And then what?

Not using the standards they just gave to the court.

Courts automatically override an elected government?

Not just a legislature which would be in our case, but the elected government, which has the powers given to it by the basic laws in question?

And noticed you ducked the Canada thing, poor form.

The worm will turn and the other side will take power.
When it does the Bibis will regret this.

It is possible, this is uncharted territory.

No intention to “duck” anything. Canada has two documents to it’s Constitution, it still a Constitution.

Democrats are always the moral high ground.

They control the language with PC and inventing and changing terms and pronouns, etc. to suit their agendas, and they control the media via talking points or ignoring their own moral rot.

They deny the very existence of right and wrong, but at the same time, convince everyone that not being PC is the ultimate evil.
Are republicans once again the victims in this scenario?

Dude, exerting influence from afar is what the government is supposed to do.

No, it is a legislative body that is passing the laws, not the public. Which doesn't make it a democracy.
