Trump has no power to magically mandate whatever pops into his head.

He has to work within the bounds of the US Constitution and the duty of protecting all citizens and states equally.

Of course the solutions will change as he includes all the people affected.

Unless he is like Obama and Clinton and just issues mandates and expects that to be the law of the land.

Liberal Democrats who don't believe in checks on limited govt might get away with that.

But his fellow Republicans like Ryan and Cruz know the laws and won't let anyone overstep. They've both threatened to sue Trump if he goes too far. And that was while he was campaigning. He still has to listen to peers and answer to the Constitution.

He had more people pressuring him to stay in line. One wrong move and opponents left and right are ready to impeach.
