This would be an idea.

Defund all public colleges and universities, and let them be taken over by private, Republican donors, or conservative donors in the UK.

Then within a generation, all radical, left-wing propaganda such as "critical theory" will be removed from universities, replaced with conservative political philosophy such as that of Russel Kirk.

The "radical" left will cease to exist overnight; their only alternative would be to be denied education altogether, or to homeschool their kids.

Not a bad idea, except that some would be bought by wealthy leftists. Not sure what the split would be, probably not 50-50.

So rich folk can own schools....I would never let some big time millionaire or billionaire near my kids....just saying. Can't trust them.

It’s an idiotic idea, creating a situation where only the very wealthy can afford to go to college.

Such is the reprehensible right.

Public Colleges and Universities in America are the best in the world. My guess is the author hasn’t seen the inside of a university in his lifetime.

Private universities are also brimming over with radical leftist nonsense.

And? What's wrong with that?

The bare minimum entry requirements to most colleges and universities aren't particuarily high as it is, at such a low level, they're primarily just institutions for the training of "workmen", rather than advanced intelligence and creativity.

Proof?

The kind of education one gets is up to the effort and ambition of that student. Once admissions is achieved, most major US universities aren't so very different (although better than anywhere else in the world).
