Primary vs Caucus system for choosing delegates

I have participated in both systems and prefer the primary over the caucus, because it favors the voters' pulse more than party needs.

all someone has to do is NOT vote for the duopoly. BOOM problem solved.
 
State parties often hold caucuses instead of primaries because they have to, not because they want to. If a state government won't shell out the money to run a primary election, they can't have a primary.
