Preview of that with which "Net Neutrality" as established by The Obama Regime will be gifting you:

What you're going to see below is NOT something you can expect to see in your home next week. Nor next month. But certainly before January 1, 2016.

First, here's a direct copy of the internet portion of my own internet bill for last month:

Internet Services
. Extreme Cable Modem, 10 Mbps/1 Mbps (dates) $59.99
. TV/phone bundle discount - 10.00

Now the telephone portion

. Local Service $22.99
. Selected optional services $03.75
. Taxes and Surcharges
. E911 Surcharge $2.00
. Universal Service Fund (state) $0.86
. City Sales Tax $0.45
. Federal Universal Service Fund $1.09
. Regulatory Cost Charge $0.03
. Residential FCC line fee $6.50
. Residential Network Access fee (state) $5.25
. Residential Universal Access fee (state) $0.01
. FTB Refund -$0.01
. Account Level Charges
. Taxes and Surcharges
. Universal Service Fund (state) $0.83
. City Sales Tax $0.24
. Federal Tax $0.25
. Regulatory Cost Charge $0.07
. Long Distance Services $00.00
. Universal Service Fund (state) $0.62
. City Sales Tax $0.36
. Federal Universal Service Fund $1.01
. Regulatory Cost Charge $0.21

All of those taxes, fees and surcharges with the exception of those for "access" (which are flat rate) are based on percentages of the base service amount. So to envision what internet service would cost change the $22.99 above to $59.99 and do the math. The various taxes and fees made the actual payment for telephone $46.28, almost double the actual "price" of having a telephone.

So, when all the internet charges....and do you really think your state/city won't piggyback on FCC mandates stuff....are thrown in expect your present internet bill to approximately double.

Enjoy!
