‘Pete Hegseth is facing the most serious crisis of his tenure as defense secretary, engulfed by allegations of war crimes in the Caribbean and a blistering inspector general report accusing him of mishandling classified military intelligence. Yet despite the long list of trouble and as lawmakers from both parties call for his resignation, Hegseth shows no signs of stepping down and still holds Donald Trump’s support.

The twin crises have engulfed the former Fox News personality in separate but overlapping allegations that lawmakers, policy experts and former officials say reveal a pattern of dangerous recklessness at the helm of the Pentagon. Democratic legislators have reignited calls for his ouster after revelations that survivors clinging to wreckage from a September boat strike were deliberately killed in a “double-tap” attack, while a defense department investigation released on Thursday concluded he violated Pentagon policies by sharing sensitive details via the Signal messaging app hours before airstrikes in Yemen.’

Trump is dangerous, reckless, and incompetent – it makes sense he’d appoint the likes of Hegseth as Defense secretary.

And that Trump continues to support his fellow criminal comes as no surprise, both have contempt for the rule of law, both have contempt for sound, responsible governance.

Major Hegseth would be an embarrassment, needing removal as a Major. He is a useless, inexperienced, dangerous dick, as a United States secretary of defense. But he is Donny's dick. He should not have ever been nominated. He should be shown the door, back to being a mediocre talking head on FAUX NEWS.

Yawn....The vile dems grasping at straws again.

Gosh, he is very secure. Who claims there is a crisis? This form of language was used also all during his first term as president.

Pete Hegseth earned his position at the DOW by writing how to fix the DOD in his book "The War on Warriors'. He is also a combat veteran who knows what he wants and doesn't want from the Pentagon.

He is following up on the fixes by undoing all of the fucked-up policies of Biden and Austin. You remember Austin? He's the SECDEF who went AWOL and didn't tell anyone. He also promoted EV tanks, DEI, wokeness, no standards, and never meeting recruitment goals.

Hegseth is exceeding recruitment goals.

My boss knows what he wants. He wants fascism in the work place. Doesn't make him good because he knows what he wants.

Hegseth is committing crimes for Trump. At some point Trump will throw him under the bus to protect his own ass, as Hegseth threw an admiral under the bus (or boat, or whatever admirals get thrown under).

It does if what Pete wants is the same as what the president wants under Article 2 Powers.

Name them, with links, otherwise I call bullshit, and you're a liar.

Why would Trump need to protect his ass? He's the president. You are just lying again.

Admiral Bradley wasn't thrown under the bus, he explained to lame ass politicians what legal actions he took to stop drug runners. Admiral Bradley is back on the job.

First they will dump the Admiral. Then they will dump Hegseth.

What crimes? I don't know, killing people outside of US jurisdiction...? That's a crime.

There are no crimes committed. Only fuzzy distortions that every administration encounters. We need to commit ourselves to building military hardware at a cheaper price and at a capable rate China is doing.

Whatever silliness liberals are whining about has not cost a single US service member their life. Yet the same hypocrite loons that are bawling like babies over Secretary Hagseth said not a word on the disastrous Afghanistan withdrawal that cost over a dozen American service members their lives. Nobody should take these liberal loons seriously.

Unlike the SIGNALS fiasco.

Indeed, it has been used since 2015 and it continues to fail.

Unlike the SIGNALS fiasco.
Look at reality. Politicians who were pro and anti-different issues and reversed themselves. Repeatedly. At some point is about power. For personal gain.

I'd go further on to state that the destruction of the Narco fleet smuggling narcotics into the U.S. via Central America and our coast has saved the lives of those who would have died from overdoses of fentanyl laced narcotics.
