Watching this attempted assassination of Trump by a leftist, I was struck by a few things.

First and foremost is the courage and willingness to stand up as a leader in the face of their mortality or in the furtherance of the nation.

When the SS allowed Trump to stand and had him in a human shield, you could hear him say, "Wait, wait." He then lifted his fist in defiance to tell the world, the nation, and the attendees that he was not cowed or fearful.

There are some who would disagree with Me, but if this had happened to Joe Biden, I can imagine he would have done the same thing. It is in the nature of someone in the position to stand in the face of mortality and say,"I am not bowed by your violence". I wold have cheered him if he had.

Its the same as you see with Presidents in times of crisis. Bush at the WTC. RFK was a 5-year-old soluting his father. Ronald Reagan in the aftermath of his shooting -- given that he was shoved into a car, its hard to pump a fist in the air. lol -- but there is a trait that drives a person to run for that office that manifests itself in the face of absolute adversity.

Trump proved himself in that regard today.

Kudos to the Secret Service. Their training shone today.
