The goal is to tell the truth- as unsavory as it may so as to give children an honest and through education. What you call “casting our history, culture, traditions, and founding documents in the most negative possible light” and what others call indoctrination- I simply call telling it like it is.

There is a dark underbelly to the history of this country, that history permeates our current culture and politics, in whole or in part because we have whitewashed history and have a poop understanding of how we got to the point where we are now.

Children should be taught that Columbus was no hero, but rather a ruthless barbarian and about the injustice that Native Americans were subjected to, and continue to be subjected to, too this day.

Children should understand the significance 1619 and the horrors of slavery

Children need to know that the Civil War was indeed about slavery that Lincoln was not an abolitionist and the significance of Juneteenth

Children should understand the shame of Jim Crow laws, segregation, and lynching.

Children need to hear about the Tulsa Black Wall Street massacre.

And finally, children need to understand the racism continues to be pervasive, and systemic, that white privilege exists and that we all have a responsibility to confront that fact

America will not heal by ignoring the root causes of our current problems, and certainly not by pretending that those problems do not exist. And that healing will bring the country together, not further divided us as those on the right allege. White children will not be made to feel guilty about their race. Children of color will not turn on whites. Rather, they will all have a deeper understanding and a greater respect for each other and appreciation of their intertwined histories, and culture.

As far as the article supposedly written by the failed Ex-President goes, it is complete and utter shameless propaganda and demonstrates the extent to which the right fears the truth, fears education, and distorts reality to avoid both. To claim that those who advocate for Critical Race Theory are promoting the hatred of America is flat out stupid and false. Rather, it is “Tough Love” -as opposed to unconditional love,- where we confront our history and our present deficits and deal with them responsibly

We need to keep our kids away from all leftists, they are all perverts and monsters.

The subject is not even being taught in schools. But nobody has informed The Orange Ape Fuckwit of that fact. Trump as usual runs his big mouth about something he knows nothing about, proving once again that he's nothing but a clown seeking attention.
